2022 May oCUBE UnConference

While we're sad to have missed you, please join us for various oCUBE events throughout the year, including monthly journal club, Happy Hour, and our December UnConference!

The May 2022 oCUBE UnConference is a return to old, but also a new adventure! This is the first time we'll officially be offering the UnConference in a hybrid format (both online via Zoom and in-person). At the same time, in-person participants will be returning to the familiar shores of Shamrock Lodge for the first time in 2 years! 

As with all oCUBE UnConferences, it's free to register for the UnConference! If you're attending in person, you're responsible for lodging and food costs. While online registration is unlimited, in-person participants are capped at 25. More information regarding in-person accommodations/food (including a link to the funding request form) can be found HERE. To fully register for the in-person you will need to contact Shamrock and book your lodging (food is included).

Don't expect to sit on the sidelines during an UnConference! It takes all of us to make it a valuable experience; be prepared to be actively engaged throughout the day. That being said, we understand that everyone has other things going on beside oCUBE and we completely understand if you can only make it to so many sessions. We get it and we're thrilled that you can join us when you can! 

The oCUBE UnConference program is built on session ideas 'pitched' by members. Submit your pitches HERE. Pitching will be open Tues. Apr. 19 - Wed. May 4 (12 pm). Voting for pitched sessions will be from May 9 - 12.

• Wed. May 25 - 3 longer sessions + reflection time; 2 shorter sessions;  community building 'unusual groups'
• Thurs. May 26 - 3 longer sessions + reflection time; 2 shorter sessions; continue to meet with your 'unusual group'
• Fri. May 27 - morning only! Fix My Sh%#! - where we crowdsource solutions to your teaching/learning problems, and State of the oCUBE (aka oCUBE AGM).
